Rwandan President Kagame offers to pay back UK money if migrant deportation deal fails


Rwandan President Paul Kagame has offered to pay back UK money handed to Kigali if the deportation deal fails.

The Home Office has paid the Rwandan Government some £240 million despite being engulfed in Parliamentary and legal battles to get the first flights off the ground.

Mr Kagame also declared concerns that the migrant deal is not working is “the UK’s problem, not Rwanda’s problem”.
