Prince Harry found 'tough' visit with King 'uncomfortable' after cutting UK trip short

Harry’s explosive memoir Spare, released last year, upset his family members as he made allegations against his brother Prince William and shared details about his childhood in the Royal Family.

However, a warm meeting between Harry and his father suggests that they are looking to mend their relationship, believing “life is too short” and wanting to “repair the rift”.

The source revealed that Charles has been “keen to reconcile with Harry for some time”, and their reunion was “emotional”.

Meghan, his wife, fully supported him and was “completely in agreement” that he should fly out to see his father after hearing about his cancer diagnosis.

The Duchess of Sussex has already reached out to Charles and Kate Middleton, who was also hospitalised last month for a significant abdominal operation.

It’s thought that these recent health scares might help mend the rift within the family.

Meanwhile, the Sussexes have been putting on a defiant display in Canada during their visit to celebrate a year until the Invictus Games.

They held hands on the slopes and told The Mirror they would “not be broken” following rumours they were having relationship problems.
