Prince Harry issued stark warning by veterans over Invictus Games decision

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent involvement in the Invictus Games has been criticised for becoming “too royal”.

The Duke of Sussex helped in finding the Invictus Games in 2014, and was applauded for this work.

However, recently veterans have claimed the games have “lost their meaning” with Meghan Markle’s participation, and they are asking Prince Harry to step down.

A royal expert said what was once Harry’s “great achievements”, has now become “imperilled” in recent years.

In a discussion with Royal Biographer Angela Levin, GB News host Mark Dolan said: “About 2,000 ex-military have left the games, as they say it’s lost its original meaning.

Levin added when she last saw Prince Harry interacting with veterans, she was very impressed by his approach, but she did not share the same sentiment when it came to Meghan.

She said: “Harry was brilliant with them – when I went round with him to talk to them, he was marvellous at giving them a feeling that life was worth living. I couldn’t believe how good he was, spending three or four minutes talking to them.

“Now it’s all about Meghan mainly and Harry follows behind, and I don’t think people want that.”
