Princess Kate's Photoshop row causes Adobe share prices to surge by whopping £2.6bn

American computer software companu Adobe Inc., which owns Photoshop as part of its Adobe Creative Suite, has seen its stock price rise by a surprising 3.3 percent after Princess Kate’s photo editing fiasco.

The increase has seen the company’s market cap rise by £2.6 billion after social media exploded on Monday following the revelation that a picture released by Kensington Palace to mark Mother’s Day had been edited.

Last Sunday an image of Kate and her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis was shared online in celebration of Mother’s Day.

The snap was apparently taken by Prince William and marked Kate’s first post online since she temporarily stepped back from royal duties after her abdominal surgery.

However on Sunday night several international photo agencies had pulled the picture over concerns it had been doctored, as many flaws in its editing were flagged.
