Universal Studios Hollywood is building a new “Fast & Furious”-themed roller coaster.
The Southern California theme park announced the new attraction on Wednesday, months after opening its latest addition, America’s first Super Nintendo World.
“Universal Studios Hollywood will bring innovative and technological achievements never previously employed to this all-new thrill ride,” the park said in a statement.
Without going into detail, the park said the new coaster will be “equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to engulf guests within the dynamic Fast & Furious universe,” which fans will note is part of Universal Pictures.
Universal Studios Hollywood already has a Fast and Furious – Supercharged experience within its World Famous Studio Tour, and Universal Studios Florida has a standalone attraction with the same name.

This new ride will be located on Universal Studios Hollywood’s upper deck, where Animal Actors and the Special Effects Show used to be.
It’s not clear when the Fast & Furious-themed roller coaster will open, but Universal Studios Hollywood said construction will begin soon.
