Woman shares 'life-changing' hack to make perfect poached eggs in less than four minutes

Poached eggs add a delicious touch to breakfast and are seen as the most special in the egg family. But, they can be very tricky to get right.

It’s terribly annoying when you just can’t cook them like the ones managed by chefs in stylish breakfast spots.

However, instead of going out and spending loads of money to get those dreamy eggs on tasty toast, a clever lady has figured out the ultimate trick for “perfect” poached eggs every time.

Alice from London needs less than four minutes to make the “perfect poached eggs every time”.

A person called her trick the “best hack I’ve ever seen” after Alice posted her method on her TikTok page @lifeof.

Alice uses a frying pan to cook her poached eggs. She boils water and then places a sieve into the pan, reported the Mirror.

She breaks an egg into the sieve and leaves it there for three and a half minutes. She then lifts the sieve out of the boiling water and is left with a completely perfect poached egg.

Alice likes to put her egg on top of a rice cake and sprinkle chopped chives over it.

Alice uses a frying pan to cook her poached eggs. She boils water and then places a sieve into the pan, reported the Mirror.

She then cuts through the middle of the egg to show off the runny centre of her “foolproof poached eggs”.

Talking about the video clip, one person said the trick was “life-changing”.

Another added: “That’s the best hack I’ve ever seen”. A third noted: “Now that looks delicious.”

However, Alice also shared in another video that if you don’t have a sieve, you can use the same method but with a ladle.

The life hack guru previously showed how she made a perfect fried egg too. She cracks an egg into a hot frying pan and when the edges of the egg turn white, she uses a pan lid to finish it off.

She wets the bottom of a clear pan lid, before taking it over to the pan where she flips the lid so the water falls into the pan. She then places the lid on the pan.
