Woman is mum-shamed after showing off her daughter's giant playhouse

A mother faced criticism after showcasing her daughter’s expansive playhouse, with some users describing it as “larger” than their own residences. Mother-of-three, Christina Oliva Cinque, a hair extensions specialist from New York, shared two TikTok’s of her little girl’s gift, that has left the online community shocked.

The sizable playhouse features two levels, complete with a living room containing sofas, a dining table, a miniature kitchen, a child-sized piano, and even its own Christmas tree.

In the first clip, which has been seen by more than 11 million people under her handle @hairgoddessofny, Christina’s daughter Simona and her twin brother, give viewers a tour of their luxury pad, followed by a second video in more detail.

The little girl walks into the house and says: “This is the kitchen, the table, my flowers, my seat,” although Christina confirmed the house is shared between the twin siblings.

She exclaimed: “I know my kitchen is a little outdated, but we’re gonna fix it”.

Her brother jokes, “construction business, I’m going to be doing the work”.

The little one continues to tell viewers: “Did you know we have electricity in this playhouse?,” before moving to the second floor, which has a piano and balcony.

The charming miniature mansion features a prominent arch at its entrance adorned with a door wreath. In addition to the flowers and table, the opulent kitchen includes a compact oven and fridge, complete with its own lighting.

Meanwhile, the living room is equipped with cream sofas, a faux fireplace, mirrors, wall art, and festive Christmas decorations. For those inclined to play music, a trip upstairs leads to a small piano, and the experience extends outside to a balcony.

Spectators were astounded by the extravagant playhouse, and the video swiftly amassed over 8,000 comments.

One commenter wrote: “My playhouse was two chairs and a sheet but this is nice too”. Another said: “Their play house bigger than my house,” alongside crying emojis.

Meanwhile, a third added: “My playhouse was a bunch of sticks, branches, laid on top of small trees/bushes and coated in a heavy layer of mud pies”.

A fourth chimed in with: “I think that house is as big as my studio and it’s nicer”. Others joked: “That would cost you £3000 a month to rent in NYC” and “That play house more expensive than my yearly salary”.
