Police in San Francisco are investigating what officials call a “suspicious” death after a 37-year-old woman’s body was found in Golden Gate Park on Sunday night.

Officers responded to Golden Gate Park in the area of 22nd Avenue and Fulton Street for a report of a dead person, the San Francisco Police Department reported. Just before 7:45 p.m. local time, an unresponsive female was located and declared dead on the scene, police said.

The body was found near the annual Outside Lands music festival in Golden Gate Park, which took place over the weekend.

When reached by USA TODAY Tuesday, the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified the person as Kelly Brock Koike of San Francisco.
