Top model jumped to death after visiting Jeffrey Epstein's island when she was 18

A top model killed herself after being flown to Jeffrey Epstein’s island when she was 18 years old.

The promising Kazakh-Russian model, Ruslana Korshunova, jumped to her death from her apartment building on Wall Street in 2008, when she was only 20 years old.

Korshunova had travelled to Epstein’s Little St James island on his private aircraft, dubbed the Lolita Express, before her tragic death, according to flight logs.

One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Roberts-Giuffre, was asked whether she knew Korshunova, according to the documents.

“I think it’s a long shot you would recognize her, but read the article I attached and then look at the pictures and see if you recognize her,” Roberts-Giuffre’s attorney, Brad Edwards asked. “I will call you tomorrow.”

Edwards enclosed a link to a Newsweek report on the model’s death.

Roberts-Giuffre replied: “I am so sorry to hear the news of Ruslana, and my condolences are with her family and friends.

“I can say that I have never had any meetings with her, sorry not to be of any help there.”

The email exchange was revealed on Thursday, with the unsealing of a 946-page trove of documents from Roberts-Giuffre’s 2015 defamation case against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s co-conspirator.

The documents were unsealed this week after the Manhattan judge ruled there was no longer any justification for keeping the files secret.

Epstein killed himself in jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

In June 2006, Korshunova had flown from New York with Epstein and other friends on a private jet, to his island.

Korshunova was born in Kazakhstan to Russian parents. A scout saw her picture in an airline magazine where she talked about trying to learn German as a teenager.

She then started her glamorous modelling career, working with famous people like Lily Cole and Jessica Stam.

It is unclear how met Epstein, but he was Maxwell was known to introduce him to attractive young women. He would lure them in with promises of employment and help with their visas.

On June 7, 2006, Korshunova boarded a flight at JFK airport with Epstein, his bodyguard Igor Zinoviev, former UFC fighter; and Lance Calloway, Epstein’s chef.

Two other women, Stephanie Tidwell and Epstein’s longtime assistant Sarah Kellen, were also on board.

Despite her career peak, tragedy struck two years after the flight on Epstein’s plane. The circumstances leading to her death remain unclear, with no details emerging about her time with Epstein.

In 2014, a book by Peter Pomerantsev disclosed Korshunova’s involvement in an extreme ‘self-help group’ in Russia, following setbacks in her modelling career.

Driven by heartbreaks and seeking solace, she joined the ‘Rose of the World’ cult, known for its dehumanizing practices. T

ragically, not long after participating in their courses, which reportedly cost over $300 a day, Korshunova was found dead on the street.
