Meghan Markle celebrates major career win as her business venture expands in 2024

Meghan Markle’s new year has started off with one big celebration in the form of a major career win.

Clevr Blends, in which Meghan is stakeholder, has begun to stock products at the popular US-based store Target.

Three of the company’s super lattes, in flavours such as Chai and Matcha, have hit the shelves and will be retailing for £14.21 ($17.99).

The brand was first launched in 2016, with its owners creating a pop-up adaptogenic coffee bar.

Meghan caught the eye of the brand after reportedly trying their coffee at a pop-up store in 2017 – and recently starred in a promotional ad for them.

The morals of the brand, such as them relying on ethical and transparent supply chains, attracted Meghan to it.

This then led the Duchess of Sussex to invest in the company two years later, in 2019.

Following her investment, Meghan told Fortune: “This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritises building community alongside her business.

“I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness.”

Just a few weeks ago, Meghan featured in a video shared on the company’s Instagram account.

The mother-of-two made a cameo appearance in a social media advert for the brand.

Meghan, who doesn’t speak in the video, is seen packing orders in the background and working with the online team.

At the end of the clip, the 42-year-old is seen giving another staff member a fist bump as the owner, and Meghan’s friend Grace Mendoza discusses the brand’s “successful year”.

It has previously been reported that Meghan is looking to branch back into the world of acting.

The former actress, who is best known for her role as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, did not have the best 2023 after a string of blows.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that they had parted ways with Spotify in June 2023, three years after signing a multi-million-pound deal with the streaming service.

The blow came one year after Meghan released the first – and only – season of her podcast Archetypes with Spotify.
