'They are disgusted!' Prince Harry 'enraging' Americans over US visa controversy

American people are “disgusted” that Prince Harry has been able to gain entry into the US despite the controversy surrounding his visa application.

In a filing revealed earlier this week it was confirmed the Duke of Sussex is a US resident, a move that seemingly cuts all ties with the UK after his acrimonious exit from the Royal Family.

A conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation, has taken the Department of Homeland Security to court over its decision to grant Harry a US visa.

They say Harry may have lied on his application, given that he admitted to past drug use in his memoir ‘Spare’.

The Heritage Foundation wants Harry’s visa documents to be made public, but the DHS has argued this could be a breach of his privacy.

Peggy Grande, former Executive Assistant to President Ronald Reagan, told Daily Express US that Americans are “disgusted” by the saga.

She said: “Those paying attention to it have realised what Donald Trump has said – that there is a two-tier immigration system, one for one side of the political aisle and one for the other.

“We know Meghan is tight with the Hollywood crowd, with the Oprahs of the world, with the elite. So it is no surprise cover is being provided for them.

“The American people in general I would say are disgusted by it because they know the average American would not be afforded the same privilege.

“The American people are realising the government are only representing special people. Harry and Meghan are special people.”

Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn claims Harry is “regretting his ignorance” when he admitted to taking drugs.

Quinn said: “Harry will be massively regretting his ignorance and naivety as the court case looms – a court case that could lead to real difficulties for him.

“It’s another example of where Royals always rely on other people to make decisions for them because when they make decisions for themselves, they often get it wrong and Spare was very much Harry trying to be his own man and messing up.”
