Chloe Radford in tears as young family left without electricity for days: 'I'm disgusted'

Chloe Radford, who is the third child of 22 Kids and Counting matriarch Sue Radford, was left to simulate banging her head against a brick wall after lamenting the lack of electricity and water in her home. The TV star, who was born into Britain’s largest family on record, voiced her frustration on Instagram as she revealed she has been forced out of her family home as she awaits an engineer.

This morning, she wrote on her Stories: “Imagine being without electric for almost 24 hours, being passed back and forth between companies ’cause neither of them can fix it.” Her frustration rose as she revealed she’d gone to the expense of a private electrician in desperation only to be told “it’s a job the electric supplier needs to sort out.” (sic)

With nothing that the 28-year-old mum-of-one could do to speed up the process, she exclaimed: “Time for me to go bang my head up against the wall. Currently how I’m feeling.”

Chloe explained that her bank holiday had been disrupted so much she’d been forced to give the one-year-old baby girl she shares with partner Jake Wallace an “al fresco tea”. Sharing a photo of her little one grimacing at an outdoor table and looking as if she might have been impacted by all the stress, she wrote: “Little salad pot for Mila while we wait for an engineer to come out (finally).

“What a lovely relaxing bank holiday this has been,” she exclaimed, adding three eye-roll emojis in frustration. However, even the next engineer visit didn’t go according to plan.

In a subsequent scathing Instagram update, she explained she’d been forced to move the family in with in-laws for the night, after the engineer she was expecting “didn’t bother to turn up”.

“Completely giving up trying to get this sorted,” she wrote.

“2 nights running we haven’t been able to give our child a proper evening meal or wash.”

Chloe added that she was “completely disgusted” by the catalogue of disasters that had sabotaged her long weekend, and branded the “lack of help” the family had received as an “absolute joke”.

“Can’t believe this is the treatment you receive on a PRIORTY list with a child in the house!! Mindblowing,” she raged.

“No idea what else we can do now to be honest,” the frustrated star continued.

“Gonna have to laugh about it ’cause I’ve cried enough over it today from how infuriating it has been.” (sic)

Her nightmare ordeal follows a health scare she recently had after her daughter woke up ill and tearful.

Meanwhile, Chloe’s parents, Sue and Noel recently released a book about their experiences raising Britain’s biggest family, titled The Radfords: Making Life Count.

It became an instant Sunday Times bestseller and is available to buy now.
