Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'first failure' laid bare

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had “failure after failure” and “setback after setback” according to an ex-Great Britain adviser to the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee.

Speaking with Mark Dolan on GB news, ex-Britain advisor, Lee Cohen said: “Right from the beginning their first failure was that they failed to harm the monarchy and the Royal Family.”

The couple, who now reside in Montecito with their two children, first moved to California back in 2020 after publicly stating they were leaving the Royal Family and stepping back as senior Royals.

They since gave a tell-all interview to Oprah which dominated headlines globally, and they released a Netflix documentary detailing the “hardships” faced as working royals and their relationships with their family. The former US/UK relations advisor admitted Queen Elizabeth experienced an “annus horribilis” in 1992, and the advisor stated although 2023 was a similar year for Harry and Meghan, it “looks to continue”.

Mr Cogen added: “”Americans have no appetite for what the Sussexes are selling. While initially they were received with a great deal of interest, Americans, like Brits, don’t have patience for negativity, for victimhood narratives, for trashing one’s family for monetary gain, and certainly for hypocrisy.”
