Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'can't keep arguing' one major point

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of hypocrisy for demanding security detail in the Duke’s latest court case.

The Duke of Sussex told the court he was “singled out” and treated “less favourably” in a decision to change the level of his personal security when visiting the UK after stepping down as a working royal.

But laying into Prince Harry in a brutal rant on TalkTV, broadcaster Esther Krakue said that having to pay for private security was standard for all celebrities, adding: “If you are not a working royal that is what your status is downgraded to.

“You cannot keep arguing that you somehow have a special place in the sky because you want you and your blushing bride Meghan and your two kids to come to this country – I don’t even know why, but that’s on him – and force the UK to set this precedent. You are not that special. I’m sorry, he needs to accept it.”

The Government has defended Ravec – the body responsible for providing security, which comes under the Home Office’s remit – for saying Harry will be given security on a “case-by-case basis”. The Duke’s lawyers say the decision was not made using the proper analysis and that he was treated differently.
