Royal Family fans baffled by new Prince Louis photo as they all point out the same thing

Eagle-eyed Royal Family fans have pointed out something rather bizarre about the Wales’ annual Christmas card. And they took to social media to talk about the oddity on the black and white image which was shot by acclaimed photographer Josh Shinner.

People have been saying that Prince Louis appears to be missing a middle finger. But fear not, as it’s just at first glance. On closer inspection the five-year-old just seems to have his fingers spread widely.

One X user on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter said: “Prince Louis doesn’t have a middle finger. Is there anything we can do to help?” Another said: “Hope Prince Louis & his finger reappears soon.”

It’s not the only weird thing that people have noticed about the image, with some to questioning what has happened to William’s left leg as only his right leg is visible.

And Princess Kate also seems to be missing a foot as one is behind the chair Princess Charlotte, eight, is sitting on. “While it’s a nice family photo, as soon as I looked at it, I noticed Louis’s hand. He’s missing a finger,” said one X user.

They added: “That got me looking closer. His right leg looks swollen. Where’s William’s thigh? Where’s Kate’s other foot?” Prince William, 41, and Princess Kate, 41, sent royal onlookers into a frenzy after they released their Christmas card.

William and Kate were joined by their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for the snap, with the whole family beaming in matching outfits.

The Waleses donned all white buttoned shirts paired with jeans in a casual look, with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis wearing canvas shoes for the image.

William and Kate both have their arms around their two sons Louis and George, with Charlotte taking the star position on an elegant chair.

The image draws parallels to an earlier image taken of Prince William for a Christmas photo session back in 1992. The childhood image of the future King shows him perched on a chair, though with more of a sombre look.

The post on the Wales’ offical X account has already been liked more than 144,000 times and seen by 22 million people.
