Princess Kate's 'favourite' tiara causes 'headache' as she puts on united front with Firm

The tiara is known to cause a very bad headache, and not just to those who receive it from the vault.

Weighing 2.2oz, the glittering piece is said to be uncomfortable for the wearer, as well as noisy due to the swinging pear-shaped pearls.

Princess Diana would regularly wear it due to its density and it would often cause her headaches.

Fashion coach and celebrity stylist Miranda Holder, who is known on TikTok under the username @themirandaholde said: “Apparently because it was so heavy she used to get terrible headaches from wearing it.”

The Princess joined other members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William, to celebrate the role of the Firm in UK diplomacy by inviting 500 members of the Diplomatic Corps for a drinks reception in the Palace’s State Rooms.
