Princess Kate breaks silence and issues personal apology over Mother's Day photo


Princess Kate has broken her silence over claims that a Mother’s Day photo she shared was “edited” after multiple picture agencies issued a “kill notice” surrounding it.

The Prince and Princess of Wales released a sweet photo on Mother’s Day. The image, taken by Prince William, showed Kate front and centre, sitting down as Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte stood on either side, with Prince George standing tall behind her.

But ever since the photo was released, it has been overshadowed by claims that it has been “edited”, with Princess Kate now issuing a statement.

She said on social media platform X: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C”
