Princess Charlotte's unexpected hobby she does without Prince George and Prince Louis

Princess Charlotte revealed her favourite hobbies after she attended the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham with her parents Prince William and Princess Kate.

The activity that the young royal is passionate about will come as a surprise for many.

During the visit, the young royal gave an insight into her favourite pastime, with Tim Lawler, chief executive of SportsAid, revealing: “She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics.

“While they are trying lots of different sports at home, when I asked her about sport she answered very easily and said ‘It’s gymnastics that I like’,” he continued.

Princess Charlotte’s chosen hobby may catch many by surprise, diverging from the athletic interests commonly associated with her sports-loving mother, the Princess of Wales, and her father, Prince William, as well as her brothers, Princes George and Louis.

Although her mother has been seen engaging in tennis with her three children, and Prince William has openly discussed his daughter’s fondness for football, the revelation about Princess Charlotte’s passion for gymnastics was entirely new and unexpected.

The origin of this interest could possibly be traced back to her great-grandmother, the Queen, who reportedly engaged in a conversation about gymnastics with Olympian Tom Daley.

Mr Daley shared an anecdote on the Swedish chat show Skavlan, recounting the Queen’s playful interest in gymnastics.

He mentioned that she even joked about trying the sport herself, commenting on her height in comparison to other athletes in the room.

Princess Charlotte’s specific involvement in gymnastics, whether as a participant or an enthusiast, remains undisclosed.

However, the news brings a refreshing perspective, highlighting her autonomy in choosing a distinct path when it comes to her hobbies.
