Prince William and Princess Kate 'more open to reconciliation' than Harry and Meghan are

The Prince and Princess of Wales are “more open to reconciliation” than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, an expert has claimed.

Prince William and Princess Kate are said to be hoping to end their ongoing feud with Harry and Meghan – but the Sussexes are have their reservations.

Meghan and Harry have been estranged from the Royal Family for some time, with relations deteriorating after they stepped down as senior working royals at the start of 2020.

Speaking to the Mirror, royal author Tom Quinn said: “Kate and William are far more enthusiastic about trying for a reconciliation than Meghan and Harry.”

The author told the publication: “Keeping up the feud is easier for Meghan and Harry in many ways because in the States they may be celebrities but they are not under the spotlight in the way Kate and William are.”

Meghan and Harry have developed a strained relationship with William and Kate over the years, with the Sussexes offering many attacks on the couple – particularly since the release of their Netflix series in December 2022.

Harry also discussed a heated row that he had with William in his bombshell memoir Spare, which was released in January 2023.

In Spare, Harry also claimed that William had also referred to his wife as “rude”, “difficult” and “abrasive”.

The Duke of Sussex also revealed the tense relationship between his wife and the Princess of Wales, revealing details of a row between them over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress for their wedding in 2018. Writing in his memoir, Harry said that he had found Meghan crying “on the floor” after the argument.

Since stepping down four years ago, Harry and Meghan now reside in the US with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
