Prince Harry's one decision that proves he's ready to reconcile with King Charles

Prince Harry has appeared to make one very poignant decision that proves he is ready to reconcile with King Charles in 2024.

It has been reported that Prince Harry was recently sent a “save the date” invitation to the Duke of Westminster’s wedding later this year.

Less than one year after announcing his engagement, it appears that the guestlist is well underway – although this has not been officially revealed.

The Duke of Westminster is Prince Archie’s godfather so it bares no surprise that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be invited but it appears that the couple have decided against attending over fears that it would be “too awkward” to attend alongside the royals.

Prince William and Princess Kate are also expected to attend – especially as the Duke of Westminster is also Prince George’s godfather.

Although Harry’s decision is sad due to his friendship with Hugh Grosvenor, it appears a right move on Harry’s part – especially when it comes to hopes of a reconciliation with the Royal Family.

After a very rocky 2023, the Duke of Sussex appears to have taken it upon himself to let the royals – and, of course, the happy couple – have the moment to themselves.

An appearance from Harry could have risked stealing the attention away and this wouldn’t have been fair on the Duke and his bride.

The ongoing feud between Harry and the royals appears to be at an all-time low so it’s a smart decision to let them shine and could ultimately spark hopes for a reconciliation with his own family.

Looking back to this time last year, Harry released his bombshell memoir Spare just 10 days into 2023 and a day after the Princess of Wales’s birthday.

The year also started with the fallout from various explosive claims made in the couple’s Netflix docuseries at the end of 2022.

Meghan and Harry have been very quiet the last few months and also decided to steer clear of the Royal Family this Christmas, opting instead to spend it in Costa Rica.

But the pair are said to be keen on patching things up with the Firm, and the couple’s decision to decline the upcoming nuptials certainly signals a change in direction.

I think fans would love nothing more than for the two parties to reunite – especially for the sake of Meghan and Harry’s two children.

It appears that Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, didn’t visit their royal relatives in 2023 at all – not even their paternal grandfather King Charles.

For now, only time will tell if Harry’s latest move will make 2024 the year of reconciliation.
