Prince Harry gives very rare update on Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in candid chat

Prince Harry has given fans a rare update on his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The former working royal, who now lives in California, recently sat down for a candid interview with Good Morning America.

In a teaser trailer released by the broadcaster on X – formerly known as Twitter – Harry promosed to open up on “his life with Meghan [Markle], how his father King Charles is doing and his passion supporting wounded soldiers.”

Speaking to GMA, Harry shared that Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, are doing “great” and “growing up very, very fast”.

Harry told host Will Reeve: “They have got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day, like most kids do… I’m just grateful to be a dad.”

Shortly after stepping down as senior working royals at the start of 2020, Harry and Meghan moved to begin a new life in the US with Archie. The pair welcomed Lilibet in 2021.

Harry flew to the UK last week to meet with his father, just hours after it was publicly confirmed that the King had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer”.

The 39-year-old travelled to London on his own, with Meghan remaining in the US with their two children.

Although his recent trip was short – 25 hours in total – Harry promised that he would try and make more visits to the UK to see his family.

Speaking on GMA, he said: “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

According to a source, Harry is keen for his children to spend time with their royal relatives in the UK.

Archie and Lilibet have spent minimal time with Harry’s family, including their paternal grandfather.

The source told OK!: “Harry wants to spend more time in the UK and bring his children over to be with [Charles] and their cousins, but he will have to prove himself first. That’s been made very clear to him.”

Archie and Lilibet are said to have travelled to the UK for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

Although Harry made various short-stay visits, Meghan and their children did not visit the UK in 2023.

Meghan was last in the UK for the late Queen’s funeral in September 2022.
