Prince Harry drops major clue about how his meeting with King Charles really went

Prince Harry appears to have dropped a major clue about how his meeting with his father King Charles really went.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon, before paying a speedy visit to Clarence House to visit his father after learning of his shock cancer diagnosis.

Just 45 minutes after he was pictured arriving, Harry was spotted leaving the London-based residence after a brief meeting with the monarch.

Harry’s visit from the US came less than 24 hours after Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer” – something completely unrelated to his recent hospital stay and treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Although details from his meeting with the monarch remain unknown, Harry appears to subtly show just how well the meeting went as he embarked on his journey home to his wife, Meghan Markle and their two children in California.

According to body language expert Judi James, it appears that Harry left the UK with a “sense of reassurance”.

Speaking to the Mirror, the expert said: “Harry’s relieved-looking body language here will hopefully provide some positive clues about his father’s current condition. His shoulders and body look relaxed and the way he thrusts his hands into his pockets as he walks suggests more of a casual ‘mooch’ than any sign of tension or anxiety.

“His eye expression looks animated, with an eye smile, and he appears to be enjoying a joke or sharing laughter with the people accompanying him. The suggestion here is that he is hopefully leaving the UK with some sense of reassurance, having seen his father for their brief meeting.”

Although the Duke of Sussex met with his father – which was reportedly their first meeting in the past 15 months – Harry isn’t thought to have made time to see his elder brother, Prince William.

A source claimed: “The Duke [of Sussex]’s primary reason to travel to the UK is to visit his father. If the opportunity were to arise to see the Prince of Wales then the Duke would have gladly accepted it.”

Speaking about William, a source said: “The Prince of Wales’s main focus is for his wife, who is recovering from surgery, his three children and now his father. There are no plans for Harry’s visit to act as some kind of vehicle for reconciliation.”

Harry was spotted at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday afternoon, just 25 hours after landing in the UK.
