Prince Harry and royals ‘further apart than ever’ with subtle clue

Prince Harry and the Royal Family are “further apart than ever” after a subtle snub, a royal expert has said.

Princess Kate is currently recovering from abdominal surgery and King Charles is having a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate next week.

Both royals have stepped back from their duties for the time being, with Prince William also taking a break to care for Kate and their children.

And a source close to the Sussexes has revealed that they have passed on their well wishes to Harry’s father and sister-in-law.

A source told the Mirror: “The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle regarding their health.

“The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes.”

But it has been said that this came too late after the Duke of Sussex neglected to mention the senior royals in a speech he gave on Friday.

He spoke for four minutes at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards Show in Los Angeles and did not mention Charles or Kate.

Royal expert and commentator Phil Dampier said Prince Harry’s failure to allude to them showed the royals are “further apart than ever”.

He said: “Harry and Meghan may have sent good wishes in private but you would have thought Harry would have taken the public opportunity to wish both his father and sister-in-law well.

“He must know that people are wondering whether he’s been in touch and therefore you’d imagine he would take the chance to make it clear that he is supporting them.”
