Prince Harry and Meghan urged to 'garner public support' and stop 'ruffling feathers'

Prince Harry and Meghan have been speaking publicly about the Royal Family for four years now, but it’s time to stop and go about things in a different way, according to a PR expert.

Ryan McCormick suggested the Sussexes put their time and energy into projects “that have the greatest chances of garnering prestige and public support.”

Up until now, their more high-profile projects, like Spare and the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, have been based on their lives as royals.

At this point, it doesn’t seem to be working, with the PR expert suggesting they try something new.

He told The Mirror: “If Meghan and Harry did a show where they interview celebrities or other globally respected individuals, it would immediately keep them relevant.

“For the foreseeable future, I would not recommend they ruffle any more feathers in the Royal Family. A period of calm and quiet will suit them well.”

McCormick has a feeling, if Harry and Meghan aren’t creating content, as they’ve suggested is their intent, it makes people wonder what they are doing.

He said: “If the duo is not fulfilling royal duties or building their brand, I would imagine they would likely spend their time at US country clubs mingling with elite power brokers.

“If Meghan and Harry truly wished to see their careers and reputations soar in the US, I would recommend they roll up their sleeves and start writing and producing noteworthy films and TV series.”

“Despite rumoured reports about various projects in the works, until another one of their TV series or books is released, we won’t be able to accurately gauge how the public feels about them.”

Meghan has a new podcast coming out, which just launched over at Lemonada Media, but the first episode has yet to premiere.
