Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's possible next move after neighbours 'sick of them'

Recent reports have suggested they could be looking at buying a £3million home in Malibu that would tie in with the Duchess’s plans to relaunch her Hollywood career. The former actress is also believed to be reviving her social media presence after teaming up with renowned agent and WME boss Ari Emanuel.

New York – somewhere the couple has jetted off to a few times previously – could be another alternative, with a source claiming Harry likes “the fast pace, the culture, the social scene.”

But even though Meghan was initially excited about a move to Malibu, Harry is said to be angling towards New York instead.

A source told Heat magazine: “Yes, it was Meghan’s idea, but he was excited about it.

“It feels odd that now he wants out of that Californian life and is suggesting they buy a place in New York instead.”

Meghan is also believed to be strongly in favour of a potential move to nearby Los Angeles having visited there for work meetings multiple times a week”, with more projects starting production..

The former actress prefers meeting people in person to make “meaningful” connections, which is easier near Hollywood, according to an insider speaking to Heat magazine.

But despite this, Harry still reportedly prefers a move to New York over LA, with the same source suggesting about Meghan: “She says maybe once they’ve made a success of things in Hollywood, they can look at getting a place in New York.”

There have also been rumours swirling that Harry wants to return to the UK as he looks to reconcile and mend his troubled relationship with his father King Charles and older brother Prince William.

However, Meghan is reportedly against the idea and wants the Sussex family to remain in the US.

Psychic Sally Morgan recently predicted a move could be imminent, with a holiday home potentially “on the cards”, but ruled out England as a potential destination.

She told Closer at the end of 2023: “They will remain strong as a couple and likely move house next year, although I don’t see them leaving the United States, or even California, which they’ve worked hard to make feel like home.

“England is out of the question, but they will also buy a holiday home in Canada, which they’ll use in the winter months for skiing.”
