Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appearance slammed after Charles and Kate health scare

“They are rubbing shoulders with Jamaican politicians who have pledged to break away from the UK and do not want the King as their head of state. It’s insensitive.”

It came after the programme’s presenter Bev Turner argued it “didn’t matter” that they had not addressed the issues as “his Dad isn’t on his death bed, he’s having his prostate checked out”.

Parry continued: “They seem very reluctant to leave their mansion at the moment, if they’re going to make a trip abroad, why not come here?

“They should have made some approaches to the Royal Family. This would have been a perfect opportunity to have some bridge building going on.”

Presenter Turner argued the couple were “building their brand” which she said they were “entitled to do”.

It comes after Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, paid a subtle tribute to King Charles during a visit to Harris Girls’ Academy in East Dulwich as part of her work as patron of the charity Wellbeing for Women.
