Neighbor arrested after 4 people found fatally shot in Idaho home, officials say

Four people are dead after law enforcement said a neighbor fatally shot them inside a northern Idaho home over the weekend.

According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and officers with the Kellogg Police Department responded to a home for a report of a shooting in the city of Kellogg, near the Coeur d’Alene National Forest about 36 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene, near Interstate 90.

All four victims suffered fatal gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office reported, and a suspect was detained.

In a news release issued Monday by Idaho State Police, troopers said the suspect, a 31-year-old neighbor of the victims, was booked into a local jail on multiple counts of murder.
