McDonald's brings iconic breakfast item back to UK menus – exact date to get it

McDonald’s has announced the return of one of its best-selling breakfast items almost four years after it was discontinued.

The iconic Breakfast Wrap has been sorely missed by fans of the fast-food chain since it was pulled from menus in 2020.

Multiple petitions have prompted the return of the iconic wrap which will be made this February.

While the McDonald’s creation has the same memorable look, those with a beady eye will notice a few changes to the breakfast dish.

The Breakfast Wrap now comes with two free-range round eggs, which were previously folded.

For less than £5, McDonald’s customers get a delicious pork sausage patty, two round free-range eggs, a slice of bacon, a crispy potato rosti and cheese served in a tortilla wrap with either tomato ketchup or brown sauce.

The wrap can be purchased on its own or as a meal, but prices may vary.

  • Breakfast Wrap – £4.39
  • Breakfast Wrap Meal – £5.89

The Breakfast Wrap will return to McDonald’s chains nationwide from Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

McDonald’s breakfast is served from 5am until 11 am seven days a week.

Many fans of the Breakfast Wrap were quick to share their excitement over the item’s return.

One excited Briton took to X, formerly Twitter to share: “This is genuinely the best news I’ve heard for a long time.”

Another added: “Of all the tweets I’ve seen this morning… I am most happy about this one!!! You bet I will be at a drive-thru on the 7th Feb.”

Another third the Breakfast Wrap should have never been removed: “About time!!!!!!! Should never have taken them off in the 1st place.”
