Emergency services have raced to the scene of a serious crash on the M2 this morning, with officials warning of severe delays after rush hour.
An update on the National Highways website reads: “The M2 in Kent is closed westbound between J6 (Faversham) and J5 (Sittingbourne) due to a serious collision.
“Kent Police, Kent Fire & Rescue, South East Coast Ambulance Service and an Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey, Sussex helicopter are attending. National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting with traffic management.”
