Luigi Mangione’s older sister has secured a plum job at one of America’s top hospitals – while the alleged assassin sits in a Brooklyn lockup awaiting trial over the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

MariaSanta Mangione, 36, will begin a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland in July, according to an Instagram post from the elite institution.

She is one of only 10 fellows to land a spot in the highly competitive, world-renowned fellowship program.

Mangione will start the prized training spot two months before her 28-year-old Ivy League grad brother goes on trial over the high-profile December 2024 Midtown slaying.

While the accused assassin attended the University of Pennsylvania, his sister has spent more than a decade in medical and scientific research, earning a degree in cell biology and molecular genetics from the University of Maryland, according to her LinkedIn.

Mangione then completed a fiercely selective MD-PhD physician-scientist program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Tennessee in 2020 – four years before her younger brother allegedly carried out the targeted killing.

The dual-trained clinician, who has authored cardiovascular and biomedical research, recently wrapped her cardiology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Luigi Mangione’s murder trial is scheduled to kick off on Sept. 8.

Jurors in the blockbuster Manhattan trial will get a look at the 3D-printed gun Mangione allegedly used to fatally shoot Thompson, along with a twisted manifesto calling to “rebel against the deadly, greed fueled health insurance cartel” by targeting “a company that literally extracts human life force for money.”

The accused killer also faces separate federal charges tied to the health care boss’s public execution.

Mangione has pleaded not guilty in both cases.

He is being held without bail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
