Ben is currently filming a sequel to his hit 2016 movie The Accountant in Los Angeles while J.Lo is reportedly pursuing opportunities in New York.
The actor-director apparently likes keeping busy, but his wife’s need for attention is supposedly getting to his head.
“She wants constant affirmation from him that she’s loved and adored,” the source shared to Life and Style.
“But she’s not getting much of that now and Ben gets defensive and moody.”
Ben and Jennifer share five children from previous relationships, and reportedly they have some work to do if they want to make the family work.
The source went on to claim that the “honeymoon is definitely over”.
“The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior.”
J.Lo recently posed up a storm at this year’s annual Met Gala on Monday.
Ben skipped out on the ball, presumably because he couldn’t get away from filming in LA, though his reason for missing out hasn’t officially been confirmed.
