Iran and Hezbollah to strike 'every inch of Israel' with missiles: 'Lots to worry about'


He added: “Hezbollah has a of of missiles, they have a lot of drones and they have a lot of weapons that they could use. Certainly if you are launching attacks from Lebanon and Syria, they could pretty much cover all of Israel.

“That would be one possibility. The Israelis seem to be concerned about a missile launch from Iran itself. They have indicated they would retaliate if there were such a strike.

“There has been this shadow war, tit-for-tat between Israel and Hezbollah for some time. I think the concern is that there might be an expansion of those kinds of attacks.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that he is preparing for threats outside of Gaza, hinting that he is anticipating an Iranian attack.

Netanyahu said on Wednesday: “We are in challenging times. We are in the middle of the war in Gaza that continues at full force, at the same time we continue our nonstop efforts to return our hostages.

“But we are also preparing for scenarios of challenges from other arenas. We established a simple principle – Whoever hurts us, we will hurt them.

“We are prepared to meet all of the security needs of the State of Israel, both defensively and offensively.”

The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday that US intelligence is expecting Iran to fire at Israel within the next two days.

An adviser told the outlet: “The strike plans are in front of the Supreme Leader and he is still weighing the political risk.”
