Inside Queen Camilla's 'naughty' home she sneaks off to for guilty pleasure away from King

Queen Camilla routinely sneaks off to her Wiltshire residence, Ray Mill House, so she can enjoy one of her favourite shows.

The £850k Wiltshire mansion, which King Charles reportedly ‘doesn’t like’, is where she can ‘watch Coronation Street’.

This home, bought with her own money after her divorce in 1994, is separate from the Crown Estate.

She bought the beautiful Wiltshire mansion for £850,000 after divorcing her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, and lived there full-time from 1996 to 2003.

The house is only a quick 15-minute drive from King Charles’s Gloucestershire home, Highgrove.

He said: “She immediately said, ‘Catherine.’ And none of us could think who she meant. And then some light bulbs started going on.”

The ITV documentary ‘Camilla’s Country Life’ revealed how Camilla became involved with the publication and how the idea of the photoshoot came about.

The programme followed her creative journey and looked back at many of her engagements over the past year.

In the show, Camilla opened up about the challenges she faced while guest editing the magazine, particularly when writing about her husband King Charles.

She said: “It’s not easy to write about your husband. I bit through several pencils.”
