Meghan Markle has experienced a “stressful” couple of months but is looking ahead to future career prospects, it has been reported.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is currently figuring out her next career moves as she puts focus on her solo projects separate from Prince Harry. The former working royal is set to work on her own cooking show for Netflix and on her upcoming lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
A source recently told HELLO!: “The last few months have been busy and stressful. Meghan is figuring out what’s next and very focused on career opportunities.
“There has been some turnover and rethinking some of her projects. Things are always in flux and she wants to make sure everything is done the way she wants it. She’s a perfectionist and particular.”
Speaking of the next few days, the source added that Meghan and Harry are “excited” to celebrate Thanksgiving in the US on November 28.
They added: “The holiday season will hopefully bring a slower pace and time for them to just enjoy being together.
“They are excited to create the magic of holiday time and new experiences with their kids [Archie and Lilibet].”
The source added that Meghan is looking forward to spending the holiday with “friends, who are like family”.
They said: “Meghan loves cooking and being in the kitchen, hosting and entertaining. The kids are old enough now where she can include them and teach them some of the American Thanksgiving traditions that she grew up with. And she loves teaching Harry as well… They will enjoy the long weekend and having time together without distraction.”
Meghan recently spoke another one of her favourite holidays – Christmas – adding that their is one thing that she loves about the festive period.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Meghan said that she enjoys the holiday even more now that she has her children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.
She told the publication: “At first, I think as a mom with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet. But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”
