This is the tragic moment a helicopter carrying four individuals crashed into a lake in Brazil, leaving one dead.
The tragedy unfolded shortly after takeoff, as captured by a camera at a nearby ranch at precisely 9:03 AM.
Julia Mendonça Silva Bernardes, 22, and the pilot, Lucas Chaves Ávila, were rushed to a medical clinic, while the third victim, yet to be identified, was taken to a hospital.
Their current medical conditions remain undisclosed.
The fourth occupant of the aircraft went missing in the water and was found lifeless hours later.

The deceased name, age, or gender have not been released by authorities.
Shortly after the crash was reported, the Brazilian Navy promptly dispatched a search and rescue team. The Fire Department, Mobile Emergency Care Service, and police units, all collaborated in the on-site response efforts.
According to the Fire Department, it was the helicopter’s first flight of the day. They also reported that those inside the helicopter could not provide information regarding any perceived mechanical issues.
Today’s crash comes after a different helicopter in São Paulo, Brazil carrying four people disappeared on Sunday.
In that incident, a mother, daughter, and two other people went missing on their way to celebrate New Year’s Eve on a tropical island. One of the passengers on this ill-fated flight had sent a text message and video to her boyfriend just before the disappearance.
The video showed extreme fog and the message said “It’s dangerous. Too much fog, I’m coming back.”
An official communication from Brazil’s Air Force said: “Techniques conducted by qualified personnel are used to collect and confirm data, preserve evidence, conduct an initial check of damages caused to or by the aircraft, and gather other necessary information for the investigative process.”
As the investigation unfolds, the community mourns the loss and awaits answers regarding the tragic incident.
