Horror as boys, 15 and 18, die in horror crash just before Christmas


Two families will be mourning the loss of their teenage sons after two boys lost their lives just days before Christmas.

The horror car crash saw a Suzuki Vitara, a Range Rover Evoque and a Ford Focus collide on the A192 Hartford Bank in Cramlington, in Northumberland at 9.30pm on Friday.

Teenagers Corey Mavin, 15, and Connor Lapworth, 18, both of Blyth, died following the tragic crash.

Lisa Mavin, the mother of Corey, has said her world is shattered after she lay next to her dying son “while his heart took its last beat”.
