Ghislaine Maxwell responds to news Jeffrey Epstein's list of associates to be made public

Ghislaine Maxwell, who was found guilty of sex trafficking, has no comments about the upcoming release of a list of Jeffrey Epstein associates, according to her lawyer.

The list, which contains nearly 200 names, had been hidden in a long-settled sex trafficking case against Maxwell, but a judge has now ruled that those involved should be named.

The order to reveal the names was given on December 18 and will expose 184 individuals linked to the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

Arthur Aidala, Maxwell’s lawyer, told NewsNation that Maxwell has “nothing to say” about Epstein or the list.

On Tuesday, Aidala said: “I don’t think she has anything to talk about except maybe that if you look at this crime, this overall crime, it’s all about men abusing women for a long period of time, and it’s only one person in jail – a woman.”

Aidala also told National Correspondent Brian Entin and NewsNation: “Ms. Maxwell’s got nothing to say to anyone.

“A lot of these cases take on lives of their own and people start believing things that aren’t true.

“Regarding this list, I could see people running amok because there are going to be names there that are just witnesses, like, oh that person may have been at this place at that time.”

Maxwell, aged 62, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking in a separate criminal case.

In the legal documents, Virginia Giuffre accused her of aiding Epstein in trafficking her when she was underage and named some powerful people allegedly involved.

One of them was Prince Andrew, along with others who had remained unnamed until now. The Duke of York vehemently denies all allegations against him.

A total of 15 were accused of “serious wrongdoing”, while 90 are described as having been “affiliated” with Epstein in some way.
