However, cleaning pro Chantel Mila, otherwise known as @mama_mila_ on TikTok, has shared an easier window cleaning method she’s been using “for years” that’s never failed her.
Her simple go-to solution involves combining white vinegar with warm water and washing up liquid.
She captioned the video: “Just wait until you see how much dirt it removed. Make your windows sparkle with this easy mix.
“It’s been my go-to for years and is so easy to make. All you need is four cups of warm water, two cups of vinegar and half a cup of washing-up liquid.
“Squeegee or rinse the mixture away and reveal your sparkling windows. Hope this is helpful lovelies.”
In the video, Chantel claimed that this mix is “powerful enough at cutting through tough grime and dirt” to “leave your windows streak-free and sparkling”.
White vinegar is extremely acidic, and that is what makes it such a good natural cleaner.
It is notorious for being a great window cleaner as the acid in it helps remove the dirt and residue that sits on windows, especially outside.
