Four dead after vehicle crosses center line, strikes five motorcycles on Missouri highway


Four people including a teenager were killed over the weekend when a Toyota Corolla crossed the center line of a highway in Missouri and hit five motorcycles, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the five motorcycles were traveling north on Missouri 39 in Lawrence County, three miles north of Aurora, and the Toyota was traveling south when the car veered out of its lane Saturday. The crash was reported at 11:20 a.m.

The four who died in the crash were either motorcycle drivers or passengers and included a 17-year-old female, whose name was not released because she is a minor; Kameron Hale, 28; James Olmsted, 59; and Linda Anderson, 61.
