President Trump told a Post reporter to “come home!!!” from Islamabad in a direct text message — just as he scrapped a planned US diplomatic push with Iran.

Caitlin Doornbos, The Post scribe traveling in Pakistan, shared screenshots Saturday showing a message from Trump after she asked about the status of the fraught negotiations.

In the exchange, Doornbos wrote in part, “Mr President, […] I am in Islamabad until we have for sure word on talks or not…”

Trump responded: “Come home!!!”

Doornbos later wrote on X that the president “told me this evening it’s time to leave Islamabad. US-Iran talks round two are off. Thank you, Pakistan.”

The message came shortly before Trump publicly announced he was canceling a US delegation’s trip to Pakistan for talks with Iranian officials.

“I just cancelled the trip of my representatives going [to] Islamabad, Pakistan, to meet with the Iranians,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, citing wasted travel time and disarray among Iranian leadership.

He added: “If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!”
