Chase Bank app and website down as fuming customers report they 'can't log in'

Chase Bank customers are reportedly having trouble accessing their accounts online and on the bank’s mobile app.

One disgruntled customer said: “My balance STILL isn’t updated and deposits not showing… Ever since early Sunday morning, anyone else?”

Another customer expressed their frustration by saying: “I’ve been trying to make a payment on the app for the past few hours. I’m just getting the spinning wheel when I hit the payment button.”

According to reports on downdetector. com, at 2pm ET, most users (83 percent) complained about issues with web login.

About 11 percent reported troubles with “Account balances and transactions”, while 6 percent said they couldn’t log in via smartphone apps.

After numerous grievances were aired on social media, Chase Support’s account on Twitter has suggested customers ring customer support 1-800-935-9935 for deposit accounts or 1-800-945-2000 for credit cards.

This news emerges as the banking service faces widespread outages recently that have affected thousands of customers.

Meanwhile, a displeased customer known as @TXCobrak shared: “@ChaseSupport text delays for logins not working and delays are 30-40 minutes. Can’t log on or use mobile site?”

Another user, @nlipson, detailed their struggles with logging into their account. They posted: “Seriously, I just got 4 texts with numbers to sign in with, none of which worked, and all which came nearly an hour after requested. Now I’m not getting any…what’s wrong with your system? ? “.
