Birmingham crash: Horror as little girl killed in smash with three more injured


A little girl has died in a horror crash in Birmingham. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene on Upper Highgate Street, Highgate, at around 9.45pm on Sunday, April 14.

They found the youngster suffering from critical injuries and immediately began administering advanced life support but despite best efforts she was confirmed dead at the scene.

Two women were treated by medics for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment. Another child involved in the collision was assessed by ambulance crews but discharged at the scene.
