Alps helicopter crash latest: Three dead as 'heli-skiing' tourists slam into mountain


Three people have died in a horror helicopter crash in the Swiss Alps, while three more have been injured.

Emergency services rushed to the scene around 9.30am local time on Tuesday morning.

The aircraft slipped into a slope while “heli-skiiing” on the Petit Combin mountain airfield, in Valais.

At the time of the crash, four tourists and a mountain guide were inside the helicopter alongside a pilot.

The identities of the deceased are not yet known. Neither is the seriousness of the survivor’s injuries.
