Zara Tindall urged to take a leaf out of Princess Kate's book to achieve 'polished' look

Zara Tindall looked stunning yesterday as she attended the Cheltenham Racecourse on New Year’s Day but royal fans had only one thing to say.

Princess Anne’s daughter donned the black and white Lottie Prince Of Wales check coat by LK Bennet (£659) and paired it with a pair of brown Regina boots by Fairfax & Favor (£425).

She accessorised the look with Sarah Cant’s brown Vicki hat (£90) and the black Lottie Pillow clutch by Asprinal of London (£495).

Royal fans took to social media to praise the ensemble but some of them suggested she could elevate the look and make it look more “polished” by copying some of Princess Kate’s tricks.

One user wrote on Instagram: “I always feel even though her clothes are good she could achieve a more polished, glamorous look with makeup, hair colour, teeth etc. If you think about it that’s why Kate looks more polished- it’s not always the outfit.”

Another one said: “Her style is 100% ROYAL. She would look perfect with a little more blush and maybe eye makeup but overall if I had to choose who represents the royal style best I would choose Zara.”

A third one added: “Zara always looks comfortable and confident, no matter what she wears. She might now be as flashy or as dripping with huge, old statement jewelry but she always looks so confident and comfortable that it makes everything she wears look stylish.”

Zara’s daughters, Mia, nine and Lena, five, were also pictured cheering during yesterday’s races.

The siblings were joined by their cousins Savannah and Isla Phillips, daughters of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly as they appeared on the balcony.

Mia looked like the spitting image of her mother as she concentrated on the races, clutching a race card.

Her cousins could also be seen holding racecards whilst cheering from the balcony.
