Zara Tindall has revealed that she is is set to travel to Australia with Mike Tindall after spending Christmas with her royal relatives in Norfolk.
The 42-year-old shared that she and her husband will travel down under in early January to partake in Magic Millions, an event which consists of showjumping, polo, and a beach race in the hot climate.
Writing in the Australian Financial Review Magazine, reporter Jane Knight said: “She and Mike will have to leave the children at home again when they visit Australia, after Christmas with the Royal Family in Sandringham, since school starts again in January. But there are recompenses – and it’s not just the promise of karaoke.”
Speaking to the publication, Zara said: “We love the lifestyle and the weather obviously is incredible. It’s just very relaxed. We’ve got a lot of friends out there.”
Discussing Magic Millions, she added: “I’ve also been very lucky to be involved in Magic Millions for more than 10 years, which is another reason to go back.”
Zara has been the face of Magic Millions since 2012, the same year that she won a silver medal at the London Olympic Games.
The mother of three is patron of the Retraining of Racehorses charity, as well as of the Magic Millions Racing Women initiative.
Speaking of this, she said: “I have a big passion for racing, and being involved and getting more women involved in the racing industry was a great initiative for me to get behind.”
Discussing the Racing Women initiative, Zara said: “It’s an amazing success story, an initiative which has brought a light to women in racing, but also ownership in racing. Along with the love of the horse and being able to watch the horse grow and go to the races, there’s all those other things that ladies like – the fashion, the connection with your friends, going out and meeting other people.”
Back in January of this year, the loved-up couple were pictured enjoying some child-free time as they also attended the annual Star Gold Coast Magic Millions carnival.
In one sweet public embrace, Zara and Mike – who are parents to Mia, 10, Lena, six, and three-year-old Lucas – could be seen making time for a hug as they soaked up the summer sun.
Taking to X, Mike shared a sweet video from the trip with his wife. The 46-year-old captioned the video: “And we are off andcantering!!! @magicmillionspolo day in the bag and what a great start to the week!!”
