A man has pleaded guilty to being the owner of a dangerously out-of-control XL bully dog which killed another man.

Christopher Bell, 45, made the guilty plea at Newcastle Crown Court this morning.

His dog killed his neighbour Ian Langley in Shiney Row near Sunderland last October.
