Woman removes ‘crazy’ amount of wall mould in five minutes without scrubbing or wiping

Mould in homes can be worrying for households as it can make you sick and is a pain to clean.

Mould pops up a lot, especially after lots of bad weather. When the air inside gets cold and hits our windows, it turns into water drops.

This makes it easy for mould to grow. Mould can show up in just one day if it’s wet, and if you don’t sort it out, it’ll spread fast.

A lady got a shock when she saw “crazy” mould in her cupboard. The mould was so thick her white walls looked “covered in blue wallpaper”, reported The Mirror Online.

She had a leak that made the mould worse and talked about the ordeal in a video on TikTok.

However, the woman found a way to get rid of the nasty stuff with a cheap trick.

On her TikTok @wharsfordinnerha, she showed how she used Kilrock mould spray from Home Bargains that cost just £2.50. The mould-removing spray can also be picked up from The Range for £1.99.

The lady stated: “Join me in tackling this mould. You’re probably wondering – how on earth did that happen?”

“We had a leak in our water storage cupboard and the mould just went crazy. So I got this spray from Home Bargains following my dad’s recommendation.”

The product is hailed as a “professional formula” with “bleaching action”. It’s perfect for indoor areas like kitchens, basements, bathrooms and more.

The woman trialled a test patch on an area of the mould and after just five minutes the mould in that area had disappeared – and she didn’t even need to scrub or wipe it away.

After being “amazed” with the results, she used the spray on the rest of the wall covered in mould. The woman added: “I could not believe my eyes when I saw the results.”

Her video got loads of attention and people couldn’t believe how well it worked. Someone even said after seeing her cupboard: “I thought it was a blue wallpaper at first.”

“To be honest I’d just hack that wall out and start new,” one shocked person suggested.

Another person said: “Honestly I would love to clean this I feel like I’d find it rather satisfying.”

To use the spray, simply twist the spray nozzle, then spray the mouldy area. Let the product sit for 20 to 30 minutes before wiping it off with a damp sponge. You might need to repeat for stubborn stains.

However, the lady who shared the tip highlighted that people should know her trick is a temporary fix until her leak is properly repaired.
