On Jan. 13, 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins met in a highly anticipated AFC Wild Card matchup.
As fans may recall, Patrick Mahomes and co.’s club prevailed that chilly day and won 26-7 at home in a game where temperatures reached a near-arctic minus-4 degrees.
Today, the climate will be warmer when Andy Reid’s 2-0 club visits Jeff Hafley’s 0-2 team at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium but tensions are certain to be just as high.
Coming off two rough losses at the hands of the Raiders and 49ers in the first two weeks of the season, Malik Willis, De’Von Achane, Jordyn Brooks and The Fins need a victory to prove that their season isn’t lost just three weeks deep into the 2026 campaign.
Meanwhile, Kansas City is hoping to ride the momentum from their triumphs against the Broncos and Colts in Weeks 1 and 2, which oddsmakers say has given them a 10.5 to 11.5-point advantage this afternoon.
