London Waterloo station is facing major delays, with passengers prevented from accessing the building after an incident on the tracks near Wimbledon. Significant delays and cancellations are affecting South Western Railway (SWR) services this evening following an incident near Wimbledon, which is believed to have occurred in the Raynes Park area.
All lines between Wimbledon and Woking are blocked, causing widespread disruption across Surrey and East Hampshire. Services between Waterloo and destinations including Woking, Guildford, Haslemere, Petersfield, Aldershot, Farnham, and Alton are impacted.
Emergency services are on site, and investigations are ongoing. SWR has warned passengers that trains may be cancelled, delayed, or subject to altered routes.
