Former President Donald Trump is traveling to Washington, D.C. Thursday to plead not guilty on charges that he tried to overturn the 2020 election, his third indictment this year.

Trump departed from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, around 1 p.m. to take a flight from Newark to Washington, where the arraignment is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.

He was indicted Tuesday on charges of conspiring with aides to overturn his 2020 election loss to President Joe Biden, efforts that led to the insurrection of Jan. 6, 2021. His other two indictments: A state case in New York involving hush money payments and a federal case in Florida alleging obstruction of justice and improper retention of classified documents.
